Michael Bormann – The Roots of a Rock Legacy
Let’s go back to where it all began: 1990.

That year marked the birth of the original Jaded Heart. The band emerged from its predecessor T.A.X., which had been active since 1987. With the new name came a new chapter, led by none other than
Michael Bormann – founder, lead creative force, sole songwriter on more than 80% of the material, as well as recording engineer and producer.

In 2004, the paths parted. But for Michael Bormann, this wasn’t the end – it was the beginning of something new. Since the split, he has contributed to around 60 albums worldwide – over 30 as a lead vocalist, and the rest as a songwriter, background singer, studio musician, or producer.

What began as a retrospective project titled “Best of Jaded Heart (1990–2004)” quickly evolved into something far more ambitious.
Today, the journey continues – we are currently working on our third new studio album, set for release at the end of 2025.

This story is far from over – in fact, it’s just getting started.
